iRdesktop supports all Windows Versions that have support for Terminal Services respectively Remote Desktop Services out of the box.
You must know that Microsoft has removed Terminal Services (Remote Desktop Services) from the Windows Home and Starter editions. Of all the paid for remote desktop apps this free app is a gem!! Definitely worth 5 stars! Infact, the worst thing about it is that I didn't find it sooner in the app store! For some bizarre reason when searching for 'rdp' it doesn't get listed! Otherwise I would have been using this a looooooong time ago! Great work developer!!! I wish I could pay to remove the adverts though :(

If you want to trade some screen real estate showin ads on the setup screens for things you don't always get in a free app ( like right mouse clicks ) then this is the app for you. Once you connect you get fullscreen RDP goodness that does the job. Recommended.

Successfully connects to Windows servers, which is what I need it to do. Very useful as it enables me to do 'emergency' work on servers even if I only have my iPad with me. You can combine this tool with the built-in VPN client on the iPad to access pretty much any server remotely. Brilliant and I can't give it anything other than five stars. Thanks.
