If you don't want you kids to have full access to everything on the internet then this product gives you the ability to lock down and have visibility of what they see and read. Easy to set up just make sure you disable safari. I needed to change device part way through my subscription and the support people sorted this out for me quickly with no problems.

Just wanted to share with those who might be uncertain about these kind of blocking program's how well this one worked. To install was a breeze, as I am no techie this was good. To set up, simple and also to adjust, I've used it for several years to protect the kids from unexpected web pages appearing on routine searches. It did what I wanted and as the kids grew up it was easy to adjust the filters to be more age appropriate. I've finally uninstalled it as my children are grown up and leaving home and it's no longer needed but a word of thanks to the folks at mobicip for being part of the team that helped them all engage with the Internet effectively and safely. Keep up the good work.

Great product. Put the app on your kids device and the website or monitor app allows you to alter the filtering levels remotely from you own device. Don't go filling the 'custom phrases' like I did as this tends to block all browsing. Set up properly it works a treat. Support was insightful and prompt, so if you have any issues just drop them a line.

This has actually become a pretty good system now of protecting your kids online. Browser is rock solid and once combined with the premium option ($10 per device per year) gives you excellent reporting and control over each of your devices. There are some limitations out of their control (can't make it the default browser) but apart from that I'm pleased. A few enhancements taken from dolphin browser (unified search bar, bookmark sync, sharing to Evernote etc) and it would have everything i need. It also needs a way for multiple users to share a device - at the moment the way you change profile from one child to another is clunky and not fast and needs to be replaced with some kind of pin code System to make it work more easily. Overall though good product and combined with opendns has made it feel much safer at home for our kids.

Really good to control internet usage

I purchased this to control the internet usage on my daughter's iPod. It allows me to set restrictions and also times when she's allowed to use the internet and when she's not. It means that I don't have to worry about her coming across a site she's not meant to access or spending too much time on the web.

Does what it says on the tin. Just a shame iOS doesn't let it filter other apps - there are a great many iPhone apps which have built in browsers that are unfiltered.

I have 2 children with the i phone touch and needed to make sure that they have parental control software installed before I would allow them acces to Wi Fi. Mobicip ticked all the boxes it's a great piece of software that is very easy to install and gives you peace of mind that the kids are safe when online. Just to complicate things I needed to change my e-mail address within a few days of mobicip being installed and the Mobicip Crew were great, and very helpful responding to my emails within 24 hrs, advising what I needed to do with clear direct instructions. I will be recommending Mobicip to all of our friends whose kids have the ipod touch.Keep up the good work Mobicip.

Persistant cookies is the big one for me and the multiple tab browsing works well. Now, if only apple would let u choose an alternative default browser so you can follow outside links easier (without having to copy and paste the link which is what I've been doing).

Used for some time now and it simply works. Only problem is clicking links in other apps doesn't work. Esp annoying with emails. Simple to use but does slow down browsing speeds significantly, particularly the logging in process.
