This app is dedicated to all the children who love to draw on their parents iPhone but would appreciate a simpler app.

The other day we were watching our young niece play with her Daddy's iPhone. She LOVES to draw on with it. But we noticed that the controls for the drawing app she was using were way too complicated. She often got stuck in a settings window and didn't know how to get out. She would have to ask her Daddy for help. Also, when she drew a cool drawing, she didn't know how to save it. She again had to ask her Daddy for help. So we thought "Wouldn't it be great if we made an app that had super-simple controls for kids? And what if we made it were it was impossible for the kid to go into a screen where they couldn't get out (barring that they didn't hit the home button)?" Thus, the inspiration for Kid Art was born, and the rest is history.
